How Cuba’s Democracy Works

Speakers: Juan Carlos Rodriguez Diaz and Yamil Martínez Marrero

Juan Carlos Rodriguez Diaz, elected member of Cuba’s National Assembly of People’s Power, professor of history, and historian of the City of Pinar del Rio, will talk about elections and democracy in Cuba

Yamil Martínez Marrero, official of the Canada Desk of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) in Havana will outline the Ché Guevara Volunteer Work Brigade to Cuba, taking place from April 22nd to May 6. For tour registration information and itinerary please see on back page.

These two distinguished Cubans are on a 2-week tour of nine cities from Halifax to Victoria organized by the Canadian Network on Cuba.
