Join as at the Centre for Socialist Education or online via zoom on July 25th for an interactive educational on Fascism, the United Front and the 7th Congress of the Communist International. The source text for this educational will be Georgi Dimitrov’s August 2nd 1935 report to the Comintern titled, “The Fascist Offensive and the Tasks of the Communist International in the Struggle of the Working Class against Fascism” (which can be read here). Reading the text beforehand is not necessary, but it is encouraged.

After a short introduction that gives historical context and reviews the key concepts of the text, participants will be broken up into groups to discuss pre-prepared questions that will attempt to connect the Dimitrov text to the current situation we are facing globally.
