Join us at the Centre for Socialist Education (706 Clark Drive, Vancouver) for a celebration of the October Revolution on Saturday, November 8th. Doors will open at 5pm, with the program beginning at 530. Tickets are $25 or pay what you can. Food will be served at 6:30pm. There will be raffles, music and poetry!

This year’s celebration will focus on the anti-imperialist aspect of the October Revolution. Once the Bolsheviks seized power from the provisional government which took control of the state after the February Revolution, the first action they took was to negotiate with Germany for a withdrawal from the great imperialist war that by 1917 had been forcing working people of different countries to slaughter each other for three years.

We honour this legacy of the October Revolution and its vision of a peaceful future and solidarity between all the world’s working people!
